This policy explains, in plain language, what information Truth & Twine collects when you visit our site or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email [email protected].
Information we collect
- Your name and email address.
- Your shipping and billing address.
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it.
- Order details, such as the designs and phone models you buy.
- Device and browser information and your IP address, which our server records in standard logs when you visit.
How we use it
We use this information to make and deliver your order, send order and shipping emails, answer your questions, handle replacements and refunds, keep the site secure, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
Payments
Payments are handled by PayPal, whether you pay with a PayPal account or a card through PayPal. We never receive your full card number. PayPal’s own privacy policy applies to the information you give them.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed to run the store:
- PayPal, to process your payment.
- Our print and fulfillment partner and shipping carriers, only the details needed to make and deliver your order.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its data.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to make the store work:
- Cart and session cookies from WooCommerce, which keep track of your cart and checkout.
- Order attribution cookies (names starting with sbjs_), which record how a visitor arrived at the site, for example from a search or a link.
- tt_device, which remembers the phone model you picked so you don’t have to choose it again. It lasts 1 year and is not used for tracking.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not currently send marketing emails. If we add either, we will update this policy first.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete the rest of your information at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Residents of some states, such as California, Virginia and Colorado, have additional rights under their state privacy laws. To make a request, email [email protected]. We respond within 45 days.
Children
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
